HALF DAY FLY FISHING:
Summer / Winter - Taupo Spawning Tributaries (4 ½ hours approx)
A great introduction to fly fishing with a good chance of landing a trout. Learn how to cast a fly line and the secrets of fly fishing.
Pick up at your Taupo accommodation at 7.30am – 8am or 1pm – 1.30pm. All quality gear provided (rods, waders, boots, tackle). Refreshments included.

¾ DAY FLY FISHING:
Summer / Winter (6 hours approx) - Taupo Spawning Tributaries and Oct to April Back Country.
A half day goes so fast; ¾ day is a great option. More time on the water and the afternoon to relax.
Pick up at your Taupo accommodation at 7.30am – 8am. All quality gear provided (rods, waders, boots, tackle) Lunch included.

FULL DAY FLY FISHING:
Summer / Winter - Taupo Spawning Tributaries (9 hours approx).
Drive, walk, wade. A great days fishing, particularly during our winter / spring months during spawning season when fish run up the spawning tributaries. Fishing egg patterns can produce some great fishing and the summer dry fly fishing is superb.
Pick up 7.30am – 8am. All quality gear provided (rods, waders, boots, tackle). Refreshments and lunch included.

FULL DAY FLY FISHING:
Oct to April - Back Country (9 hours approx)
1 - 1½ hour drive through stunning rural NZ gets us to remote rivers, away from the busy Taupo tributaries. Rainbows and browns, breathtaking scenery and gin clear water makes for great sight casting.
Pick up 7.30am – 8am. All quality gear provided (rods, waders, boots, tackle). Refreshments and lunch included.

QUAD BIKE ADVENTURE FLY FISHING:
Oct to April - Back Country (10 hours approx)
Access wilderness Wanganui river by quad bike. Rarely fished, remote and pristine, makes this a must do for the serious fly fisherman. A 40 minute quad bike ride through scenic bush clad trails is an adventure in itself. This is a full on day with a good level of fitness required.
Large rainbows and browns.
Pick up 7.30am. All quality gear (rods, waders, boots, tackle) provided. Refreshments and lunch included.
Maximum 2 pax on this trip.

BOAT FISHING:
Summer / Winter (3 hours minimum to full day charters)
Maverick is a 7 metre Haines Hunter with enclosed cabin toilet. It is powered by a 225hp Yamaha assisted by an 8hp trolling motor. It gets us to the best fishing spots in comfort – fast.
Boat fishing on Lake Taupo offers many angling opportunities from fly fishing to sighted, cruising Rainbows, spinning, down rigging, jigging and trolling. December to March large Browns congregate around the river mouths. Early morning is the best time to target these fish.
Afternoon in the summer months can produce some great sport, casting cicada patterns to cruising Rainbows.
Sightseeing also available – we custom design the trip for you. Maori Carvings, waterfalls, scenic bays, picnics on shore all possible.
All quality gear provided. Refreshments on shorter trips and lunches on full days are included.

HELI FISHING AVAILABLE:
Oct to April - Back Country (8- 9 hours)
Maximise your fishing time. 20 - 30 minute scenic flight to your fishing destination. Remote and stunning scenery. Rainbows and browns.
The ultimate fly fishing experience to get away from it all and enjoy New Zealand’s wilderness and fishery.
Pick up 8am. All quality gear provided (rods, waders, boots, tackle) refreshments and lunch included.

MULTI DAY PACKAGES:
Multi day packages in the Back Country waters are tailor made to your requirements. (2 days plus).
Could include Quad Bike Adventure fly fishing, Heli fish, and remote back country rivers.
Private farm access available on some rivers. Accommodation is in river side cottages, huts or campsites. Luxury accommodation also available on request.
Boat fishing Lake Taupo is also a great way to relax after 2 - 3 days on the rivers.
All trips are personalized and fully catered with all quality gear (rods, waders, boots, tackle) all food and accommodation taken care of.

FLOAT PLANE / FLY FIHING COMBO:
Take off from Taupo Bay and fly the length of the lake, 42km to the world famous Tongariro River, where we fly fish at the river mouth which is accessible only by boat or float plane. Fish for 2 hours, then take a short flight to a Lakeside restaurant for lunch.
Alternatively fish longer and return directly back to Taupo.
A spectacular and relaxing way to fish and sightsee.
