The guiding has slowed right down now so time to have a break, work on my golf game,do some hunting with Briggs and a bit of fishing of course. On that note the spawning season runs have started with some fantastic fishing remeniscent of a few years ago with good size fish and numbers to match.Lets hope it will keep up. As I write this the TT will be the place to be over the next 2 or 3 days. The flow is 5.7 and dropping with good colour. Get the glo bugs out ,split shot ,big floaty indicator and go for it. Reports of good size fish in great condition in the rivers and the lake is fishing good as well. I was out 2 days ago for a couple of hours and landed 4 fat fish, bright orange colour ed flesh. You are probably wondering what a giant crayfish is doing on my blog, well we just had a week in Aussie and drove from Melbourne to Adelaid.Came accross it in a small town by the name of Kingston and that is about all that is there ! They were catching good blue fin tuna to 120kgs around Portland . Lots in the 15 to 30kg range. Had no time to have a go at them, they looked like fun to catch. Some huge stinray were feeding of the scraps by the jetty where they were filleting them and would poke their head out of the water waiting to be fed.
