A 3 day campout with the Yeti and Stig .The weather was good, the fishing awesome with 20 odd fish over 3lbs,mainly browns all on the dry. A double figure fish was lost, some nice rainbows caught, some wine and beer consumed,and the food wasn't bad either with lamb rump, steak, and the good old bacon and eggs. A quad bike adventure with 2 Aussies and their first time flyfishing saw them catch a nice rainbow and brown despite being hooked in the trees more often than not, and a boat trip on the lake saw 10 or so rainbows landed by Kevin from England. Also a quad trip with Chris, Jim and Lauren saw us not landing a fish although we did break one off. Chris suggested the material I had to work with was not great ! Also day trips, 3/4 days, 1/2 days over the last few weeks have kept me flat out so the blogs have been a bit slow. Having a break today, off to golf to work on my handicap.
